Every year, the federal government sets a cost limit for the out-of-pocket maximum for a Medicare Part D prescription drug plan. In 2027 it's $2,400.
Part D prescription drug deductible
The federal government also sets a Part D prescription drug deductible amount each year. In 2027 that amount is $700.
