What is this medicine?DINOPROSTONE, PROSTAGLANDIN E2 (dye noe PROST one pros tuh GLAN din) stimulates contractions to empty the uterus. Sometimes it is used after a miscarriage. It can be used when necessary to induce abortion between the 12th and 20th week of pregnancy. This medicine may also be used to treat a condition called benign hydatidiform mole.
