Dental coverage is available with most Medicare Advantage plans. All plans that include a dental benefit cover services not covered by Original Medicare, such as exams, annual x-rays and routine cleanings—all for a $0 copay with in-network dentists. Many plans also include dental coverage for comprehensive services like fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures, and certain types of root canals.

Routine eye exams with a $0 copay are included in nearly all Medicare Advantage plans. Many plans also offer an eyewear allowance for contacts or frames, with standard lenses covered in full.

FirstLine is an OTC (over-the-counter) benefit that helps members save money on OTC medications and products, in-store or for home delivery. Many UnitedHealthcare plans offer an allowance toward health and wellness products—like pain relievers, cold remedies and vitamins—and some even offer an allowance to buy healthy food at many retailers.
