Medicare Prescription Drug Plans

Medicare prescription drug plans. A simple way to get prescription drug coverage.
Original Medicare Parts A and B doesn't include prescription drug coverage. And you don't automatically get prescription drug coverage when you sign up for Medicare. Some Medicare Advantage plans include prescription drug coverage. But you can also get Part D drug coveragein a standalone Medicare prescription drug plan.

Two types of plans. Two simple ways to get prescription drug coverage.
The AARP® MedicareRx Plans insured through UnitedHealthcare offer two types of prescription drug plans (PDPs):

  • $0 deductible2 plans to help you save money from your first prescription fill
  • $360 deductible plans that can give you peace of mind even if your health changes.

All plans include coverage for thousands of commonly used generic and brand name prescription drugs, but offer slightly different coverage and drug lists. You can take advantage of members-only savings by filling your prescriptions at a pharmacy in the Preferred Retail Pharmacy Network, including these retail locations:

Find a preferred retail pharmacy near you1

And when you choose the convenience of home delivery from OptumRx®, you could enjoy $0 co-pays for a 90-day supply of Tier 1 and 2 medications.3
