What is this medicine?VITAMIN E (VAHY tuh min E) is a vitamin that is being promoted for its ability to protect against aging of the skin caused by ultraviolet light, such as sunlight and to aid in the healing of minor burns and sunburns. These claims have not been evaluated by the FDA at this time. Vitamin E is a naturally occurring vitamin that is found in many foods such as cereal grains, fruits, green leafy vegetables, vegetable oils, and wheat germ oil.
