  • A lumbar puncture is a medical procedure usually performed to obtain a sample of cerebrospinal fluid. The procedure is sometimes referred to as a spinal tap.
  • Gallstones are hard deposits in the gallbladder that can eventually block the exiting bile ducts. Abdominal pain, fever, itchy skin, and jaundice are possible symptoms.
  • Kidney disease occurs when one or more conditions damage the kidneys, keeping them from operating properly. This can also lead to high blood pressure, weak bones, nerve damage, and poor nutritional health.
