Gestational Trophoblastic Disease

Symptoms could include:

  • Follicular cysts, also called ovarian or functional cysts, appear on or in the ovary. Filled with fluid, follicular cysts are common in women of reproductive age.
  • Most women will develop at least one cyst on their ovaries during their lives. In most cases, these cysts are painless and cause no symptoms.
  • Abdominal point tenderness (abdominal tenderness) is pain that occurs when the abdomen is pressed in a specific area. This is generally a sign of inflammation or other acute processes in one or more organs.
  • Abdominal pain occurs between the chest and pelvic regions.
